7. Since returning from the course how might you approach your communication challenges differently?
1. Make sure I understand the audience and convince management.
2. Use the additional screen of a structured - 6P - approach to targeting audiences. Review the many other marketing activities taking place at USG sites that could also be coordinated with my agency.
3. put myself in the customer's person. Too many times, I and my agency, over look this perception.
4. Need time to absorb the material but need to bring more creativity to our sales pitches.
5. I think I can better help management direct their budget.
6. In the future I will spend more time up front planning an effective strategy for any outreach/marketing efforts. This will create more comprehensive outreach with a stronger message.
7. By really focusing on the customer and getting to know the customer's needs.
8. The course helped to raise my awareness to a higher level in a more palpable way about what it takes to get attention, deliver a message, and influence behavior.
9. After discussing social marketing, I am much more aware of the importance of audience analysis. In the past, I always considered my audience, but I will now think of the audience in different ways. Hopefully, this new approach will improve my communications.
10. I realize the communications and marketing portion is only part of the plan. I really need to focus on the 5 P's.
